Radio Shack Personal Emergency Phone Dialer Manual Transfer
Product: Radio Shack personal emergency dialer, item #49-1005 (no longer sold), purchased aprox. 2006, but used only during the past one year. Problem: recently is draining its 4 AA batteries within 12 hours, and doesn't work (no display, no siren, no relay of button activation) without the batteries being in the dialer. There has been trouble with the telephone line (coincidentally?). System is an internal one (with AT&T) to the senior residence where my parents live. Thank you so much! This TV uses a standard power cable for computer monitors and desktop CPUs.

You can find these any store that has computer accessories. Harder to find is the ferrite core that you need to add to the monitor side of the power cable. This cuts down on RFI (radio frequency interference). They are available at Radio Shack and other stores. A link for one of the ones at Radio Shack is:. Monitor/CPU power cables with the ferrite cores installed are rarely sold as a premade cable. I hope this helps.
