More or less followed the. My motherboard is a. There was a DSDT file available for it in the TonyMACx86 database. I made sure to select the appropriate Realtek audio and network drivers in MultiBeast. Basically, everything went great.
(I did have to add the boot command GraphicsEnabler=No for my GTX 650, which I wasn't expecting since I thought this would be a known, supported card.) My problem though is that I have no audio device. When I go to System Preferences - Sound, the only output devices I have are AirPlay to my AppleTVs. No Input devices at all. If I go to 'About this Mac' and get the System Report, under Audio I have 'Intel High Definition Audio' listed with some line items under it ('Line Output', 'Headphones', a couple of 'External Microphones', and Input and Output for 'S/PDIF Optical Digital Audio.'
So:. Why does it think my audio is 'Intel' and not 'Realtek'? Did I do something wrong?. Is that really detecting my audio device or is it a dummy set of values.
(Seems pretty accurate for the ports I have on it.). What am I missing to get this to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This seems to be the only part of the system that isn't working. I'm guessing I'm just missing something stupid but I dunno what.
My only concern there is that it's pointing me to kexts for 10.8.0 and everything I've read is that 10.8.4 changed some things around. My understanding was that MultiBeast should remove the problem kexts and put in the working ones, but that doesn't seem to be happening for me. (Or at least isn't solving the problem.) I'm tempted to try the voodoo kexts, but MultiBeast mentions that it may make the system unstable. I'm definitely NOT looking for that.

Is this really just a matter of putting the correct kexts in the /System/Library/Extentions directory?
